Foran Equine Launches in USA with Ground Breaking New Products

Foran Equine, an Irish, family owned business specialising in healthcare and equine performance supplements for over 40 years is excited to introduce two new research backed products, FOR-REPRO Stallion & FOR-RECOVERY, both of which provide a stabilized form of Ubiquinol, the most bioavailable version of Coenzyme Q10.

The launch of these exciting new products to the range which already consists of 60 products, coincides with the announcement that Foran Equine is now available in the USA.

Foran Equine have appointed R.J Matthews at their national distributor in the U.S, the oldest family owned and operated animal health product distributors in the USA. To mark the of the launch Foran Equine will be exhibiting at AAEP 2019, (American Association of Equine Practitioners Convention) taking place in Colorado, 7th-11th December, at stand 230.

Foran Equine’s FOR-REPRO Stallion and FOR-RECOVERY provides a stabilised form of Ubiquinol. A powerful antioxidant, Ubiquinol CoQ10 is the ideal support for stallions in preparation for and during the breeding season. It is also ideal for performance horses with rigorous competition lifestyles.

Coenzyme Q10 is essential for the production of biological energy and for the management of oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can be detrimental to spermatozoa, thus affecting a stallion’s ability to produce healthy and viable sperm. Coenzyme Q10 in the form of Ubiquinol has been shown to decrease oxidative stress during exercise in all forms of equine competition, particularly those demanding stamina.

Numerous studies show that oxidative stress impacts semen quality, reducing motility, viability and fertility. Dr. Ahmed Tibary, will be presenting at AAEP at Sunday 8th December, at 11am in Theatre One on behalf of Foran Equine. “Effects of daily Ubiquinol CoQ10 supplementation on spermatozoal motility and viability after cooling and freezing. Additionally, the effect of post-thaw addition of CoQ10 to the extender.”
