Rebecca Watson, a distinguished member of the Foran Equine and Connolly’s RED MILLS exports nutrition team since 2016, holds an MSc in Equine Science from the University of Edinburgh. She is also a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London. With over two decades of experience as a Veterinary Nurse, including 15 years in Equine Practice on the Curragh in Co. Kildare, Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.

Her career has spanned various continents, including positions in the USA, UK, Germany, Hong Kong, and Australia, as well as the GCC region. Rebecca’s expertise covers a broad spectrum of equine care, encompassing racing, stud, and sport horse medicine, surgery, and nutrition. She is deeply committed to the health and welfare of all horses under her care, always placing their needs at the forefront of her work.

Rebecca’s role involves extensive travel across Europe and throughout the Middle East, where she has visited numerous prominent stables. Her insights and experience are invaluable in addressing the unique challenges and nutritional needs of horses in these regions.

Outside of her professional commitments, Rebecca is an avid equestrian enthusiast. She often rides out for a local trainer in the mornings and is a familiar face at major racing events, including those at Punchestown, Naas, Leopardstown, and The Curragh. Her passion for the sport and deep understanding of equine nutrition and health make her a vital and senior member of the Foran Equine and Connolly’s RED MILLS team.
