Olympic Dressage Rider

Married to William Bell with whom she shares 2 sons, Heike and her family have always been very closely associated with equestrian sport; her mother, Gisela, is a list one global dressage judge. Heike and her younger brother, Erik, have competed in showing and lead rein classes. 1990 was the year she won her first Irish National Champion title at the age of 18, one she has won 11 times over.

Heike has trained with Dr Reiner Klimke, a 7-time Olympic medalist, and was his only pupil for many years. She has traveled to many European circuit shows while living in Germany and learned from one of the best dressage riders in the world. Her many achievements include being an 11-time national champion, 4-time Olympian, HSI Dressage Level 3 coach, Horse Sport Ireland tutor, and coach to a Paralympic triple medalist.
