About Lewis Carrier

Lewis Carrier is an International Grand Prix Dressage rider and coach. Lewis has previously worked as a rider at Eilberg Dressage, having been based there for nearly five years, as well as riding and working at Elite Dressage with Anna Ross. Lewis has produced his Grand Prix horse Diego from a four-year-old and specialises in producing horses up the levels. Lewis is an enthusiastic horseman and is keen to further riders and their horse’s potential.

Lewis stepped up to Senior Grand Prix level in 2022. He was on the U25 Grand Prix European Team in 2019-2022 and the Young Rider European Team in 2018. Lewis is currently on the British Equestrian World Class Pathway and 2028 Olympic Ambition Program.

Top achievements:

  • Representing GB at Youth Europeans on 3 occasions and finishing in the top 12 at U25 level
  • Finishing 3rd at Windsor CDI4* in the Freestyle with 77%
  • Representing GB at first Nations Cup in 2023 and finishing top 10 with 71%+ and placed best of the British, whilst the team also placed 4th
  • 2023 – Competed at London International World Cup in front of a home crowd where he achieved two top 10 placings and 77%+ in the freestyle
  • 2024 – 2nd at Windsor CDI4* with 75% and went onto win the British Dressage National Championship across the two days of competition
  • Doing all of the above on the same horse that Lewis produced from a 4 year old!
  • Winning 71.26% Wellington CDI 3* GP
  • Winning 71.87% BD National Champs GP
  • 2nd place 71.22% in Hartpury CDI3* GP
  • 2nd place 75.17% in Royal Windsor Horse Show CDI4* GPFS
